Dear Sophia -
Everyday your imagination grows. We love hearing you tell stories about dragons and witches, princesses and fairies. You make sure to tell us when you tell stories or pretend with a toy that "they are not real, I'm just pretending". One of my favorite stories that you have told was just last weekend.
As we were finishing off the box of Gardner's Peanut Butter Meltaways, I asked you if you would like a bunny or a bird. You quickly said bird. Before I knew it your bird was wrapped in your napkin and you were feeding him your vitamin. You made up a story about keeping your bird safe from the dragons. This went on for a least twenty minutes. You concluded the story by sitting beside me on the couch, looking at me with a smile and saying "..and they lived happily ever after" and eating his head off......

winter
Dear Sophia and Charlie -
We were lucky enough to spend almost every weekend at Blue Knob this winter. Lucky in that we have two chalets, season passes, and plenty of family and friends that also love to be at Blue Knob. It's the perfect thing to do on a cold winters weekend. You can stay in your pajamas all day (like I did last winter when you were in my belly Charlie), or play with your cousins in the snow, or stand by the campfire (Daddy's favorite) or even ski! It's perfect for you two because you have a whole weekend of nonstop attention, activities, and (yes Sophie) iPads. Daddy asked you a few weeks ago who was at Blue Knob, you said "John, Sam, Allison, Aunt Stacy, Uncle Richard, Pap, and Uncle Richard's iPad.
Growing up I was always at Blue Knob. I loved being at my family's chalet with my cousins and I have wonderful memories there. So it makes me incredibly happy to know that you will have the same.
Here are a few pictures to sum up our winter at Blue Knob.
